Established in 1904, the Kelowna & District Fish and Game Club is one of the oldest clubs in British Columbia.  It has a long history of supporting wildlife conservation, fishing, hunting, and shooting sports.

    Trapshooting was originally developed by bird hunters looking to improve their capacity on the hunt, but the activity was fast to catch on with other interested shotgun enthusiasts.   

    The clay targets are launched from a “house”, via a clay target thrower, which launches a moving clay target at various  distances and angles away from the shooter, depending on the shooters position.

    The shooter will shoot at the target after calling “pull!” Regardless if the shooter shatters the target or merely clips a small corner, the target will be considered a “dead” bird. Shooters have the responsibility to keep their own score.

    This makes trapshooting different from other forms of clay shooting practices. The gun of choice in trapshooting is usually a 12-gauge shotgun. But, shooters have expanded their skills to use a variety of hunting guns in the practice.

    Trapshooting is an attractive sport for men and women alike. Age differences are not important as old and young alike can participate in this exciting event. Of course, a certain amount of strength and stamina are needed to shoot well for any extended amount of time. There are even mental benefits to the practice.

    Participants will improve hand-eye coordination, self discipline and mental focus. It is very important that all participants understand fire-arm safety procedures and have a healthy respect for firearms.

    When shooting trap, each shooter gets 5 shots from 5 different stations.  Each shooter takes 1 shot at a time.  When the last shooter completes his 5th (final) shot at a station, the shooters move to the next station.  In total, a shooter will shoot 25 shots (a box of shells) each round.

    There is always a Range Officer on duty to ensure safety.  Novice shooters will be get individual supervision from a certified Range Officer when they first start to ensure they understand the process, the safety protocols as well as some helpful instruction to increase their success rate at breaking targets.

    The KDFGC 1500 Discipline (Handgun / Holster – Target Shooting Sport)  holds its practices twice weekly on the Outdoor 1500 Range (also known as the UIT Range).   Usually on Wednesday & Sunday, but occasionally subject to change.   Please check with the Group Leader noted below.

    The 4 th Sunday of each month we hold a 1500 Sanctioned Tournament, so practice is pre-empted on these Sundays.

    A brief description on 1500 PPC shooting can be found on the KDFGC Website - under the “Clubs” Tab – scroll down to KDFGC 1500 (PPC).    KDFGC members are welcome to come out at any time to watch our practice sessions (or Tournaments) to get a better understanding of the sport.

    1500 practice sessions are conducted using its formal 1500 competition calibres  (the most common being .38 Spl  &  9 mm).  Members can also participate in practices using .22 cal.   Other than the revolver or semi-auto pistol, one requires an appropriate holster, belt, magazines or speed loaders and their belt pouches.   On a practice session we normally fire around  100 – 120 rounds of ammunition.

    To participate in the organized practice sessions club members must have completed the KDFGC Handgun Level 1 and 2 Courses, or equivalent, or had other professional holster training  (Law Enforcement, Military, Etc) – along with an evaluation by the Discipline Range Officers.

    The only cost to participate is for the targets used (supplied by our Discipline).   To pay for the targets, you can use a  1500 target punch card, available in the office for $20.00 (for 10 punches)  or via the KDFGC Online Store.  You can also pay by cash,  a $3.00 fee (exact change please).

    CANADIAN FIREARMS SAFETY COURSE (PAL) DESCRIPTION:

    The training provided in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) prepares students with beginner-level knowledge on the responsibilities of possessing and using non-restricted firearms. The course focuses on the safe use, handling, and legal requirements for the possession, transportation and storage of firearms and ammunition.

    If you are interested in firearms safety, acquiring a firearm, or work which involves the use of firearms (movies and acting, outdoor careers, law enforcement), this is an excellent foundational course. Successful completion of this course is also the legal requirement to apply for a federal firearms Possession and Acquisition license (PAL).

    COURSE INCLUDES:

    Instruction, testing, course documentation for submission to the RCMP, frameable course certificate. Coffee and water will be supplied free of charge.  Students must bring own lunch and snacks.

    COURSE MANUAL:

    You are required to have the CFSC official manual with you when taking this course. Options:

    PRIMARY LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

    Using lectures, demonstrations, and supervised physical skills performance with deactivated firearms and inert ammunition, the candidate will learn:

    • ·         Basic firearms safety practices including ACTS and PROVE
    • ·         Ammunition identification, types and storage
    • ·         Operating different types of firearm actions
    • ·         Safe handling and carrying of firearms and ammunition
    • ·         Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user

    PREREQUISITES:

    There is no prerequisite training required to attend this course. Pre-reading of the required manual will enhance your course experience and is highly recommended.

    PROHIBITIONS:

    If you are subject to any legal firearms or weapon prohibitions, you are not permitted to register for this course.  Do not bring live firearms or ammunition to this class.

    COURSE COST:

    The cost of the CFSC course & tests (per person) is $175.00 plus GST

    COURSE OUTLINE:  HANDGUN BASIC (FUNDAMENTALS)

    Indoor Range Saturday  1000-1600 hrs 

    Trainees are required to bring their own firearms, ammunition and equipment.

    COURSE OVERVIEW:

    This 8-hour, live-fire certificate course instructs the fundamentals of handgun safety, marksmanship, operation, and maintenance. The course is designed for new shooters and those who are experienced but have not received previous professional training or certification. The focus will be on improving the candidate’s accuracy and handling in an environment that emphasizes safety.

    Successfully completing his course (or previous professional training) is a required prerequisite to take the Handgun Level II (Intermediate - Holster) Course. Class size is limited to 8 candidates to ensure a high level of individual attention. Note: 6 hours instructional and range time, with 2 hours home-study time prior to attendance


    PRIMARY LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

    ·         ·         State, explain and apply the rules for safe firearm handling (ACTS and PROVE)

    ·         ·         Demonstrate at all times how to handle a handgun in a safe manner

    ·         ·         State the major types of cartridge and firearm malfunctions, and how to react to them

    ·         ·         Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to conduct live fire training on a range

    ·         ·         Safely shoot a pistol from the one-handed and two-handed (Weaver or Isosceles) standing positions

    ·         ·         Demonstrate the ability to strike a 10” target 17/20 rounds from 7 yards, timed fire from the standing two-handed position

    ·         ·         Demonstrate the ability to perform basic range commands and duties as an acting Range Officer as required by Section 5(e) of the Shooting Clubs and Shooting Ranges Regulations

    ·         ·         Demonstrate how to clear, disassemble, clean, reassemble and function check a pistol

    ·         ·         Identify several ways to pursue additional training after the course

    COURSE PREREQUISITES:

    A valid Restricted PAL, which MUST be brought to the course for viewing and verification by the Instructor prior to commencing training.

    Pre-read and understand the information contained in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course Manual, pages 215 to 326, (Restricted Firearms modules), along with a review of the owner’s manual for your particular handgun. This will ensure you are attending with the appropriate level of theoretical knowledge to be successful on the course. Electronic copies of the CFSC manual and most owner’s manuals are available for free online.

    Based on your pre-study of the CFSC manual and owner’s manual, you should commence the course with a general knowledge of how your handgun functions, to include:

    ·         ·         Safety first! ACTS and PROVE in relation to your firearm.

    ·         ·         The parts and names of parts on your firearm.

    ·         ·         All controls on the firearm (Safety, de-cock, magazine release, cylinder release, slide catch, etc.)

    ·         ·         Be able to lock the slide to the rear while maintaining muzzle and trigger finger control.

    ·         ·         Be able to disassemble, reassemble and function check.

    All above will be reviewed and tested as part of the course.

    FIREARM AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT:

    ·         ·         A modern-design handgun (pistol or double action revolver) in excellent operating condition. Magnum calibers are NOT permitted.

    ·         ·         Two or more cartridge magazines or revolver speed loaders.

    ·         ·         A cleaning kit (which contains a rigid rod) which is appropriate for your handgun and caliber.

    ·         ·         A sturdy locking case and trigger or cable lock.

    ·         ·         All required paperwork to legally transport your restricted firearm (registration certificate, Authorization to Transport or RPAL indicating transportation conditions permitted).

    AMMUNITION:

    ·         ·         Minimum 150 rounds of factory manufactured ammunition. No magnum or +P ammunition is permitted.

    GENERAL EQUIPMENT:·         ·   

    ·         ·         Wraparound protective glasses.

    ·         ·         Ball cap.

    ·         ·         Hearing protection (Electronic external muffs preferred)

    ·         ·         Closed toe shoes or boots with grip suitable for range floor.

    ·         ·         Shirt which fits tightly at collar, waist and cuffs.

    ·         ·         Long pants (cargo or hiking style is perfect) with room for movement.

    ·         ·         An extra layer for warmth. Training occurs on an indoor range with constant ventilation and can be cool.

    ·         ·         Pen and notebook for notes and marking the exams

    ·         ·         Any medications you require (Ventolin, epi pen, etc.).

    FOOD AND DRINK:

    ·         ·         You must bring snacks and lunch (We do not leave the range due to time constraints. Food for purchase is not available on site)

    SCHEDULE:

    ·         ·     MANDATORY PRIOR TO THE COURSE , complete a review of the CFSC Manual restricted firearms sections and your owner’s manual.

    ·         ·         Training Day is 10:00 to 16:00. Please plan extra time to arrive early as the class starts at 10:00 sharp.·         ·

    DOCUMENTATION:

    ·         ·         Successful trainees will receive a professional certificate and course report at the conclusion of the course.

    ·         ·         Successful trainees who are KDFGC club members will be authorized to shoot unsupervised on the club’s covered pistol range.

    COURSE OUTLINE:  HANDGUN LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE


    Indoor Range Sunday  1000-1600 hrs 

    Trainees are required to bring their own firearms, ammunition and required equipment, including pistol belt, magazine pouches and rigid holster.

    COURSE OVERVIEW:

    This 6-hour, live-fire certificate course is designed for shooters with a good knowledge of the fundamentals of marksmanship, and would like to take their skill set to the next level.  This is not a class for the novice shooter; Handgun Level I (or equivalent) is required.  This course will give you the fundamental skills required to safely draw from a holster, engage targets from various distances and positions, exchange magazines or speedloaders, shoot from behind a barricade, and clear malfunctions on your firearm. Successfully completing this course will provide your temporary “Blue Badge”, which will allow you to participate in PPC / KDFGC 1500 training and evaluation. Class size is limited to 8 candidates to ensure a high level of individual attention.

    PRIMARY LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

    The following will be instructed and evaluated on this course:

    ·         ·         Dynamic firing line range commands

    ·         ·         Proper presentation of the firearm

    ·         ·         Learning the concept of the four-point draw

    ·         ·         Firearm Reloading Techniques and magazine exchanges

    ·         ·         Malfunction Clearance Drills (Class 1 and 2)

    ·         ·         Varied Shooting Positions (Standing, kneeling, seated, prone)

    ·         ·         Timed relays

    COURSE PREREQUISITES:

    ·         ·         A valid Restricted PAL, which MUST be brought to the course for viewing and verification by the instructor prior to commencing training.

    ·         ·         Completion of the KDFGC Handgun Level I – Basic, or similar professional training and qualification. Consult with the Range Manager or Instructor if you have documentation in this regard prior to registering for the course.

    ·         ·         No health issues which would interfere with the safe and unimpeded use of a strong side belt holster and support side magazine holder. Must be able to use a two-hand grip, move between standing, kneeling, seated and prone positions comfortably, while maintaining full control of the firearm. Must be able to safely participate in moderate physical activity and movement. You must contact us for a pre-course evaluation if this may represent an issue requiring accommodation.

    ·         ·         Pre-read and understand the information contained in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course Manual, pages 215 to 326, (Restricted Firearms modules), along with a review of the owner’s manual for your handgun. This will ensure you are attending with the appropriate level of theoretical knowledge to be successful on the course. Electronic copies of the CFSC manual and most owner’s manuals are available for free online.

    Based on your pre-study of the CFSC manual and owner’s manual, you should commence the course with a strong level of knowledge of how your handgun functions, to include:

    ·         ·         Safety first! ACTS and PROVE in relation to your firearm.

    ·         ·         The parts and names of parts on your firearm.

    ·         ·         All controls on the firearm (Safety, de-cock, magazine release, cylinder release, slide catch, etc.)

    ·         ·         Be able to lock the slide to the rear while maintaining muzzle and trigger finger control.

    ·         ·         Be able to disassemble, reassemble and function check.

    All above will be reviewed and tested as part of the course.

    FIREARM AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT:

    ·         ·         A modern-design handgun (pistol or double action revolver) in excellent operating condition. Single action (cowboy-style) revolvers and magnum calibers are NOT permitted.

    ·         ·         Two or more cartridge magazines or revolver speed loaders

    ·         ·         Belt mounted magazine/speed-loader holders.

    ·         ·         A well-constructed, good quality strong side holster, made of rigid leather/nylon with a covered trigger and a retention device (firearm cannot fall out if inverted in holster). Absolutely no cross-draw, shoulder, inside the waistband, flap, soft, or concealment holsters. The holster must be designed for your make and model of firearm.

    ·         ·         Note: KDFGC has prohibited the use of Blackhawk Serpa holsters and their variants that unlock in the same manner (using the trigger finger to release the firearm above the trigger guard).

    ·         ·         A sturdy belt which supports the holster and magazine holders firmly and with minimal movement, ideally attached to an inner belt with keepers or Velcro.

    ·         ·         A cleaning kit (which contains a rigid rod) which is appropriate for your handgun and caliber.

    ·         ·         A sturdy locking case and trigger or cable lock.

    ·         ·         All required paperwork to legally transport your restricted firearm (registration certificate, Authorization to Transport or RPAL indicating transportation conditions permitted).

    AMMUNITION:

    ·         ·         Minimum 200 rounds of quality manufactured ammunition. No magnum or +P ammunition is permitted.

    GENERAL EQUIPMENT:

    ·         ·         This is a professional firearms instructional environment. No rude or inflammatory logos, political statements, excessively tactical clothing, etc. Respectful interaction with the instructor and other candidates is mandatory.

    ·         ·         Protective or prescription glasses.

    ·         ·         Ball cap.

    ·         ·         Hearing protection (Electronic external muffs preferred)

    ·         ·         Closed toe shoes or boots with grip suitable for range floor.

    ·         ·         Shirt which fits tightly at collar, waist and cuffs.

    ·         ·         Long pants (cargo or hiking style is perfect) with room for movement.

    ·         ·         An extra layer for warmth. Training occurs on an indoor range with constant ventilation and can be cool.

    ·         ·         Pen and notebook for notes and marking the exams

    ·         ·         Any medications you require (Ventolin, epi pen, etc.).

    FOOD AND DRINK:

    ·         ·         You must bring hydration, snacks and lunch (We do not leave the range due to time constraints. Food for purchase is not available on site)

    SCHEDULE:

    ·         ·         Before the first class, complete your review of the CFSC Manual restricted firearms sections and your owner’s manual.

    ·         ·         NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM.

    ·         ·         Training Day is 10:00 to approximately 16:00 with a half hour lunch from 12:00 to 12:30. Please plan extra time to arrive early as the class starts at 10:00 sharp.

    DOCUMENTATION:

    ·         ·         Successful graduates will receive a professional certificate and course report at the conclusion of the course.

    ·         ·         Successful graduates will receive authorization to participate in supervised KDFGC WA1500/PPC training

    ·         ·         Loading, unloading, and confirming safe

    ·         ·         Understanding of cease fire, post/check targets, and commence fire commands

    ·         ·         Understanding the safety line, firing line and target line

    ·         ·         Engaging a 7-yard target with a minimum standard of live fire accuracy

    ·         ·         Acting Range Officer duties as required by Section 5(e) of the Shooting Clubs and Shooting Ranges Regulations

    ·         ·         Range arrival and departure requirements

    ·         8.       Conduct of Qualification:

    The required skills are identified on the Safety Qualification form. Each skill will be evaluated and documented as Pass/Fail.

    The instructor will review and physically demonstrate the skill, then evaluate the candidate’s ability to perform the skill to the written standard. All scoring will be written on the Safety Qualification Form, along with the instructor’s observations. A final result of PASS or FAIL will be recorded.

    The final result and instructor observations will be reviewed with the candidate at the conclusion of the evaluation. Note: Repeated muzzle or trigger finger violations will result in a qualification failure.  Pointing a firearm at the instructor, another candidate, or at oneself will result in an immediate failure.

    ·         9.       Exemptions to Requirement:

    Active duty (or recently retired) armed law enforcement / military / armed guard personnel may be exempt from qualification. Current IPSC, IDPA, PPC trained individuals, or those who have completed KDFGC Handgun Basic, or a similar civilian course may be exempt from qualification.

    A review of KDFGC specific range rules, along with acting RSO requirements will still be required. If you believe you qualify for an exemption, please discuss with Admin or the Range Operations Manager.

    The training provided in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) prepares students with beginner-level knowledge on the responsibilities of possessing and using non-restricted firearms. The course focuses on the safe use, handling, and legal requirements for the possession, transportation and storage of firearms and ammunition.

    If you are interested in firearms safety, acquiring a firearm, or work which involves the use of firearms (movies and acting, outdoor careers, law enforcement), this is an excellent foundational course. Successful completion of this course is also the legal requirement to apply for a federal firearms Possession and Acquisition license (PAL).

    COURSE INCLUDES:

    Instruction, testing, course documentation for submission to the RCMP, frameable course certificate. Coffee and water will be supplied free of charge.  Students must bring own lunch and snacks.

    This qualification assumes you are familiar with the basics of handgun shooting, and will focus on confirming you have the skills to be safe while shooting unsupervised. If you do not have shooting experience, please contact the office regarding taking our 8-hour Handgun Basic Course.

    Saturday mornings, 9:30 am to 11:00 am (May extend to 12:00 dependent on number and skills of candidates). Arrive no later than 9:15 as training starts at 9:30 sharp.

    To ensure all members using pistol ranges are fully competent in handgun safety, by demonstrating the following:

The course focuses on the safe use, handling, and legal requirements for the possession, transportation and storage of firearms and ammunition.

    If you are interested in firearms safety, acquiring a firearm, or work which involves the use of firearms (movies and acting, outdoor careers, law enforcement), this is an excellent foundational course. Successful completion of this course is also the legal requirement to apply for a federal firearms Possession and Acquisition license (PAL).

    COURSE INCLUDES:

    Instruction, testing, course documentation for submission to the RCMP, frameable course certificate. Coffee and water will be supplied free of charge.  Students must bring own lunch and snacks.

    You are required to have the CFSC official manual with you when taking this course. Options:

    The training provided in the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) prepares students with beginner-level knowledge on the responsibilities of possessing and using restricted firearms such as handguns, including revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. The course focuses on the safe use, handling, and legal requirements for the possession, transportation, and storage of restricted firearms.

    New members must complete the Handgun Safety Qualification prior to unsupervised use of the pistol range.

    This qualification assumes you are familiar with the basics of handgun shooting, and will focus on confirming you have the skills to be safe while shooting unsupervised. If you do not have shooting experience, please contact the office regarding taking our 8-hour Handgun Basic Course.

    ·         7.       Objective:

    To ensure all members using pistol ranges are fully competent in handgun safety, by demonstrating the following:

    ·         ·         Muzzle directional control

    ·         ·         Trigger finger indexing

    ·         ·         Management of common malfunctions

    ·         ·         Loading, unloading, and confirming safe

    ·         ·         Understanding of cease fire, post/check targets, and commence fire commands

    ·         ·         Understanding the safety line, firing line and target line

    ·         ·         Engaging a 7-yard target with a minimum standard of live fire accuracy

    ·         ·         Acting Range Officer duties as required by Section 5(e) of the Shooting Clubs and Shooting Ranges Regulations

    ·         ·         Range arrival and departure requirements

    ·         8.       Conduct of Qualification:

    The required skills are identified on the Safety Qualification form. Each skill will be evaluated and documented as Pass/Fail.

    The instructor will review and physically demonstrate the skill, then evaluate the candidate’s ability to perform the skill to the written standard. All scoring will be written on the Safety Qualification Form, along with the instructor’s observations. A final result of PASS or FAIL will be recorded.

    The final result and instructor observations will be reviewed with the candidate at the conclusion of the evaluation. Note: Repeated muzzle or trigger finger violations will result in a qualification failure.  Pointing a firearm at the instructor, another candidate, or at oneself will result in an immediate failure.

    ·         9.       Exemptions to Requirement:

    Active duty (or recently retired) armed law enforcement / military / armed guard personnel may be exempt from qualification. Current IPSC, IDPA, PPC trained individuals, or those who have completed KDFGC Handgun Basic, or a similar civilian course may be exempt from qualification.

    A review of KDFGC specific range rules, along with acting RSO requirements will still be required. If you believe you qualify for an exemption, please discuss with Admin or the Range Operations Manager.

    **All persons acquiring firearms and/or ammunition must be in possession of a valid PAL.**Vender SHALL verify prior to every sale!**

    4. All firearms must have bolt removed or a locking device installed.

    Confirm that all firearms are unloaded, locked & secured at all times.

    Let no one handle a firearm in an unsafe manner.

    No ammunition is to be loaded into a firearm for any reason!

    5. Black powder is not permitted on the premises. Smokeless powder must be in factory containers.

    6.  All firearm sales must have a written receipt that you provide showing the description, make, model and serial number (if available).

    **No one will be allowed to leave the premises with firearms and/or ammunition unless accompanied by a written receipt.**

    7. Vendors will not alter the floor plan or table layout. Display items must not encroach on walkways.

    8. Vendors and their assistants must wear & clearly display name tags at all times.


    9. The Vendor must remain at the table(s) for the duration of the show. Vendors who leave before 4pm, without permission of the Committee, will be banned from future shows.

    10. Tables are ONLY transferable, with Show Committee permission.

    11. No Pets Allowed.  Service Animals Exempt.

    12. The use of these facilities, including but not limited to loading and unloading your vehicle, is done at your own risk. Neither the Show Committee, nor KDFGC, are liable to any Vendor for any damage what-so-ever, including but not limited to damage to a vehicle or any part or attachment to it. The driver and/or owner of any vehicle and the Vendor are jointly liable for any Personal Injury, damage to the building, or any other damage whatsoever.

    13. If the Vendor must cancel their participation in the show, they are required to notify the Show Committee as soon as possible. Refunds are ONLY available for cancellations requested more than 14 days prior to the show. Vendors who fail to attend the Show without notice may be banned from participating in future shows.

    14.  Applications & payments to be received by 03 Aug 2025.  Payments can be made by:

    1. the KDFGC Website with online application;

    2. cash, credit card or cheque in person at KDFGC office; or

    CANADIAN RESTRICTED FIREARMS SAFETY COURSE (RPAL) DESCRIPTION:

    The training provided in the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) prepares students with beginner-level knowledge on the responsibilities of possessing and using restricted firearms such as handguns, including revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. The course focuses on the safe use, handling, and legal requirements for the possession, transportation, and storage of restricted firearms.

    If you are interested in firearms safety, acquiring or possessing a restricted firearm, or work which involves the use of restricted firearms (movies and acting, outdoor careers, armed guard or law enforcement), this is an excellent foundational course. Successful completion of this course is also the legal requirement to apply for a federal restricted firearms Possession and Acquisition license (RPAL).

    Please note this course is restricted to adults (18+).

    COURSE INCLUDES:

    Instruction, testing, course documentation for submission to the RCMP, frameable course certificate. Coffee and water will be supplied free of charge. Students must bring own lunch and snacks.

    COURSE MANUAL:

    You are required to have the CFSC official manual with you and available for reference when taking this course. Options:

    PRIMARY LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

    Using lectures, demonstrations, and supervised physical skills performance with deactivated restricted firearms and inert ammunition, the candidate will learn:

    • ·         Basic firearms safety practices including ACTS and PROVE
    • ·         Ammunition identification, types, and storage
    • ·         Operating different types handgun actions (revolver and semi-automatic)
    • ·         Safe handling, loading and unloading of restricted firearms
    • ·         Responsibilities of the restricted firearms owner/user
    • ·         Safe storage, display, and transportation of restricted firearms
    • ·         Review of Canadian firearms laws and regulations

    PREREQUISITES:

    You must have attended and passed the (non-restricted) CFSC course prior to attending this course. You may register for both courses at the same time, but they must be completed in order.

    Pre-reading of the required manual will enhance your course experience and is highly recommended.

    PROHIBITIONS:

    If you are subject to any legal firearms or weapon prohibitions, you are not permitted to register for this course.  Do not bring live firearms or ammunition to this class.

    COURSE COST:

    The cost of the CFSC course & tests (per person) is $150.00 plus GST

    COURSE LOCATION:

    Kelowna and District Fish and Game Club, Clubhouse classroom facilities. Address is 4041 Casorso Rd., Kelowna BC, V1W 4N6.

    KDFGC professional training facilities include free parking, separate and accessible washrooms, and a large climate-controlled classroom.

    CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:

    KDFGC reserves the ability to cancel courses due to low registration, instructor illness, or situations beyond our control. If this occurs, a full refund of all fees will be provided.

    Similar to purchasing a concert ticket or any “reserved seating” event, all seat sales are final. Should you be unable to attend your course date, you are free to transfer your seat reservation to another person.
